Job Title: Camera Operator - Large Sporting Events in Hong Kong
Job Description:
APERTURE is seeking a skilled and experienced camera operator to join our team and work at large sporting events in Hong Kong such as football matches.
Responsibilities:
Operate professional video cameras to capture high-quality footage of various sporting events.
Work closely with the production team to understand the event specifics and required shots.
Follow camera scripts and shot lists to ensure comprehensive coverage of the sporting events.
Employ a creative and dynamic approach to capture the energy and excitement of the events.
Ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly before the event begins.
Collaborate with the director and other crew members to execute the vision for each event.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations related to camera operation in live event settings.
Maintain a professional and focused demeanor during high-paced and high-pressure events.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a camera operator in live sports or large event settings.
Proficiency in operating professional video cameras and related equipment.
Strong understanding of cinematography and visual storytelling techniques.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or degree in film, broadcasting, or a related field.
Prior experience working at large sporting events or in live broadcasting.
Familiarity with the sporting landscape in Hong Kong.
